This is my first tattoo I have gotten, I got it after months of thought and careful planning, seeing how It was hard to me at first to find something that i knew I would love in that spot for the rest of my life.  I decided on the treble clef because music for so long has been my saving grace.  I also got it as a reminder of the start of a new chapter in life.  I spent the latter  two years of my high school career homeless and wildly depressed.  And through that whole experience, weather through means of playing my own music, listening to music or listening to friends music, it really seemed like it was the only thing keeping me here.  So when i finally got out of what seemed a slump that would never end, I decided to get this tattoo to remind me of what I went through and that things no matter if they seem dark and never ending may always find a way to turn around.  The treble clef symbolizes music itself and the bonsai tree, a common symbol in philosophy for peace, serenity and harmony symbolizes the deep philosophical nature of music itself and the way that its roots will continue to slowly grow inside my soul for the rest of my life.
